The most important information on the
ID label is
Your Name - Phone Number - City - State or Province.
Street names
or numbers & ZIP or postal codes are
not important as the finder of a lost
club will phone but
rarely deliver the club back to you. You could provide this
information
if you wish during the phone call. Use both a work
and home phone number to increase
the chances of contact.
Your full address is only required for mailing the labels
to you.
Our labels are waterproof so you don't have to worry about
the
ink fading out making the label useless. Our labels use
the most visible color
combination, black print on a
white background. Research has proven that beautiful
co-ordinated colors reduce the chance of getting your
lost club back. You
want the finder to see the label as soon
as they pick up the club. Some golfers
feel the highly visible
label distracting at first but this is quickly forgotten
as you realize that you should be looking at the ball when
you attempt to
make a shot. The object of the ID label is to
have the highest possible chance
to have club returned.
Do not use more than 20 characters including spaces
for
any one of the 4 lines of print or some of the information will
be covered
up as the labels is wrapped around the shaft. If you
use complete full names
such as "Timothy Harold MacKenzie "
you will have used the space of
24 characters and the last three
characters will be hidden. If you use T. H.
MacKenzie, the full
name will show on the label.
Include the information you wish to use on the labels as well as
your
complete mailing address for delivery. Remit payment
upon receipt of your order
or enclose a check for the number
of sets ordered.
